11 hours in a car

Well after 11 hours in the van together we arrived at Mom's house on Saturday. The trip was uneventful and the boys were so good. They are such good travelers and hate it when we have to stop for gas, bathrooms breaks or for some food. They want to be here as fast as we can. Doesn't hurt either that the van has a built in DVD player...that was a great investment!!

The boys were so excited to finally be at Nena and Grandpa's house. They love to be here and to experience all the things that you can't do in the middle of San Antonio. I am not a big fan of dirt, bugs and creepy crawly things...which they have plenty of at Nena and Grandpas house! While I dont like them though I love the fact that the boys love to get dirty here and hold frogs, chase after the dogs through the yard, watch the geese in the pond and go to sleep with lightning bugs in a jar.

We love it here and wish that their house was right around the corner from ours....but you dont get everything you wish for. (We are in the works of trying to convince them that Texas is better)

We have been to pick blueberries twice so far. You can get a hole gallon for just $11.00..and if you have been to price blueberries you know this is a deal! I believe that Alex also ate his way through one gallon while we were picking. One in the bucket and 3 in the mouth....
